Alfredo Moran was born in the vibrant city of Guayaquil, Ecuador. From a young age, he displayed a natural affinity for horses, beginning his equestrian journey at just seven years old. By the time he was twelve, Alfredo’s passion for riding had grown significantly, leading him to take his training more seriously at Club Ecuestre La Herradura.

Growing up, Alfredo faced financial challenges that could have hindered his equestrian ambitions. However, his determination and work ethic shone through. He worked tirelessly, earning opportunities to ride other people’s horses through sheer dedication and hard work. This period of his life was marked by resilience and an unwavering commitment to his passion.

At the age of eighteen, Alfredo secured a position as an assistant trainer at the Guayaquil Country Club. Over the next eight years, he honed his skills and developed a strong sense of professionalism, patience, and organization. This experience was instrumental in shaping Alfredo’s approach to horse training and management.

In 2018, Alfredo made a significant move to the United States, where he joined a prominent breeding farm in New York. This transition marked a new chapter in his career, exposing him to the American equestrian system. Alfredo immersed himself in breaking young horses, participating in horse shows, and grooming at the top level. This period of professional growth allowed him to broaden his expertise and adapt to new methodologies.

At the beginning of 2024, Alfredo took a bold step forward by starting his own business as a freelance rider. He was fortunate to secure an incredible opportunity to work with Eye Candy Jumpers based in Wellington, Florida. This move allowed Alfredo to offer his clients a professional environment with top-notch facilities and staff, enhancing the quality and scope of his services.

Horses have always been at the core of Alfredo’s life. His passion extends beyond competing in big classes; instead, he finds fulfillment in the meticulous process of producing horses the right way. Alfredo’s dedication to proper training and development reflects his deep respect for the animals and his commitment to excellence in the equestrian field.
